MapInfo Pro v2023 was released Tuesday, 12th of September with support for English, German, and French.
There has been much interest in this new release, mainly driven by the new 3D visualization capability that was added.
We have held 3 release webinars to cover the many time zones You can find the recordings below.

Merging XYZ Files into a Single MMR File
Christopher Enckell reached out with a question about creating a new digital elevation model from 235 input files.
It turned out the input files were in the XYZ format that MapInfo Pro Raster can read directly. Merging the 40GB of data took a while but resulted in a lightning-fast DEM in our Multi-Resolution Raster (MRR) format.

Support for M and Z Values on Object Nodes
M & Z Values on objects are now kept when you export to or import formats that support M & Z values, such as ESRI Shape, GeoJSON, Geopackage, and more.
We also allow you to change these values through MapBasic statements and MapBasic tools such as DrawTools.
