Okay, sometime terrible maps aren't so terrible at all. You can follow TerribleMaps on your favorite site including Twitter, Facebook, Instragram, and Reddit. And while some are truly terrible, some make you think and many make you laugh (or at lease they make me laugh.) I've just picked a few examples for your Map Monday pleasure. For instance, the headline map is "35 Place Names in Iceland that will help you understand what dyslexia feels like." No kidding! Here's the entire map.
Here's another map that may state the obvious, but makes me smile every time.
Speaking of Antarctica, placing it in the middle of the Spilhaus Projection depicts the interconnections of the oceans... and is far from a terrible map in my book!
Finally, while my map of procrastination may not look exactly like this, it certainly is familiar territory.
Enjoy these and other #TerribleMaps that aren't so terrible at all!
