Many things in life are ephemeral

When we say the word 'ephemeral' we know these are moments which are so 'short lived'. Do we realise in life there are so many moments which just last for a few moments but make our life so beautiful. Life is a complex mixture of ephemeral and interminable things, and one needs to identify them clearly in order to have a happy life. Think of some people there are very rare kind of people exist in one’s life for long time, others are just temporary. For example, short term contractual colleagues, travel buddies etc. who meet us for a short while and then just move away.

Human sex orgasm lasts only for a few moments of bliss and then it just disappears leaving us asking for more. Indeed, this has the shortest life span. Though a human has more than enough chances to experience it again and again. Similarly enjoying your favourite ice cream is also so ephemeral because it just lasts for a few minutes and then it is gone. Trust can also be so ephemeral as one wrong move and it gets shattered forever between two people. Crushes in school or college as most crushes a person gets in his/her lifetime, are short lived.

If it exceeds more than 4 months, it is love already. Also happiness is also an ephemeral entity, it can completely vanish with one wrong incident. Also sorrow/ sadness it is quite similar to happiness, it is also short-lived. Therefore don't worry too much about happy or sad moments because all of them are temporary and ephemeral. What is ephemeral and what’s not, just depends on our attitude towards life. If we are optimist, they the happiness will not end so soon and vice-versa.

Everything we are, do, have and think about. Even the Earth is in transition, and will not last forever in its’ current state. Blown soap bubbles, the blooms of tulips, the glorious sunset and ghostly veils of aurora borealis displays are short-lived. Knowing that change is constant, we can fully experience our feelings and know they will change, too. Everything… Just Sit and close your eyes.. the laptop mobile and all tangible objects will become ephemeral, then after some time all sounds becomes ephemeral, after sometime the place you are sitting on will become ephemeral, And after sometime yourself become ephemeral…. Its Wonderful though…to experience life as ephemeral.

To summarise, everything in our life is ephemeral. The things we have at present may not last with us as long as we live. The persons whom we love at present may leave us at any time. The clothes we have at present may torn off at any moment. The beauty we have at present may fade away due to any unfair situation. The happiness we are experiencing at present may turn into tears at any time. The only thing that lasts with us till our last breath is the “love“ that our parents show on us. So, be ready to face any change that occurs in life at any cost. And learn from it, live life king size! Cheers!
