Many companies follow the sustainable path of Nightwatch.
Nightwatch Drink
Nightwatch, 100% plant based extreme energy drink for focus & power. The choice of a new conscious generation.
Sustainability is hot. More and more companies embrace the subject. It only needed a few to lead the way. Companies like Nightwatch started their business from a sustainable view, now others like Nestle and Unilever follow the vision of conscious companies. To stay competitive in their markets and to meet the demands of society, like transparency. Big names like these embrace new plans. Still, critical organisations watch them closely since for mega companies, it’s also a process of ‘repair’.
The promise of Nightwatch - a 100% Plant Based Energy Drink for Focus & Power- is simply what the brand delivers. That’s why Nightwatch has come to be the choice of a new conscious generation. ?
Nightwatch: sustainable from birth
Nightwatch simply started from the assumption that the sustainable way is the only preferable way to build a healthy company. Sustainability has been in our DNA from the very beginning. For the sake of the planet and for a long-term valuable business strategy. Both social and production wise. We cherish where we come from and protect our sources. That’s why we have been aiming to improve the sustainable supply chain from the start. Starting by closely working together with the people that discovered our main energetic ingredient: the guayusa plant.

Sustainable growing and harvesting guayusa in Ecuador
The Amazonian Quichua in Ecuador have extensive knowledge of the jungle. Helping them with means and our knowledge on sustainable harvesting, we train and support them getting more profit from their herbs in a sustainable way. Together, we set up a forestry project to grow and harvest guayusa leaves without damaging the forest. To actually change the situation, we found out, you can’t just do one thing. Sustainable ‘forest friendly’ production needs a chain approach. While working together, pillars like sustainable techniques, reforestation but also education, social programmes and fair pricing all have to be included.

Education is the key
To ensure sustainable cultivation now and in the future, we collaborate with students from the local university for agriculture. We teach them both efficient and sustainable growing methods, farming and reforestation. By working together with Yanapuma < https://www.yanapuma.org/ > and Project Ecuador < https://www.projectecuador.co.uk/>, we support the aid to make it possible for every child to have a roof over its head and that Spanish schools are being set up in the region. We emphasise the importance of documenting their ancient knowledge, so it can be passed on to future generations to come. This improves the level of sustainable farming and local incomes.

Nightwatch aware: social development.
Meanwhile we organise Community Days < https://www.nightwatchdrink.com/communitydays-ecuador > where we dance, drink and talk together about social- and environmental subjects. ‘Nightwatch aware’, as we call these gatherings, addresses important topics such as pollution and child labour.

Fair price, better product
At Nightwatch, we believe in a fair chain philosophy. So we pay more than the market price. This simply results in a fair price for the Quechua. Happy suppliers who can maintain their families, mean a healthy flow of quality product, while treating the land and forests as a cherished source. This way we aim to contribute to a healthier, more sustainable system. And a better tasting Nightwatch, for multiple reasons.

Best of both worlds
Our approach provides the best of both worlds. On one side, we cultivate a sustainable harvest of a healthy high-quality natural product. And the other side of the world is enjoying a healthy alternative: the new generation extreme energy drink with a fantastic taste. The only way, is the sustainable. And we follow that from the heart of our brand.
