Many, Many Choices
There is so much going on at this moment that is worrying. And, if we follow it to its conclusion it can make us either really upset or really crazy. That’s one scenario. So, what can we do?
These are the things I came up with:
1) Deny everything and live in a fantasy world
2) See what’s going on and go crazy
3) Know what’s going on and live a life that makes sense and not get caught up with it all
4) Drop out and live in a small town or remote village and have a different but great life
There will always be people in power who are making decisions we won’t agree with. And, while it would seem that their decisions will impact us, in truth we can live our life despite their decisions. Oscar Wilde said it best, “Living well is the best revenge.” And that’s what we need to do. What I’m saying is that even though things are dire in some ways, we don’t have to let it determine the quality of our life. Or how we live it or even where we live it.
There is always a solution to everything. Without exception. It might mean we have to reconfigure things. Think differently. Give up our old patterns in life. We can do it. That’s what entrepreneurs do all the time. And right now, there are tons of entrepreneurs so we have examples of how to do it. So, if you are unhappy with the way things are, what are you going to do to make things better in your life? You do have that power no matter what your circumstances.
The above statement usually angers people because it means now they have to do something. And, it is scary. I know because I’ve reconfigured my life many times. But scary doesn’t mean we can’t do it. So, make your life fit who you are not what the circumstances around you are. You can do this and the results will be miraculous.
