Manufacturing Information & Operational Intelligence Platform

It was year 2000, when I was working as Shift-In-Charge for an Ammonia Plant, I first got hands on a Computer. I wanted to calculate the Primary Reformer efficiency using computer program. It took me few night shifts to write code in C. Finally, I built the program and started testing, using the previous days plant data from shift reports and lab results. Through it was a sheer pleasure, it was tedious to collect and feed all the parameters and lab analysis. Then I was thinking, about 17 years back, how to link the DCS & Lab data to this program so that the program runs automatically and publishes the report in Local Intranet. I tried for the possible ways and found it is was difficult and also costly. 

It was always my dream that Engineers shall focus on monitoring and improving the process/energy efficiencies, troubleshooting plant issues quickly, stabilizing the plant operations and ensuing the plant running in safe operating zone. They shall not loose their valuable time on data collection, doing laborious & repeated calculations and running all over the places for gathering factual information in order to troubleshoot plant problems. Later I moved to India Oil and then to Middle East. I visited several Plants in India and Middle East and witnessed how Engineers struggle to handle the process data.

In 2013, we started building inSis Suite in a small Indian town, Ongole. The motive and the very purpose of inSis Suite is to help Process Engineers, Plant Managers and Top Management by making it easier to access, calculate, analyze, resolve, report and share the Process Information. Today, inSis Suite helps Engineers and serves as single point source for all the Real-time manufacturing information like Real-time Process Data, Historical Trends, Real-time Performance Metrics, KPIs, Events, Abnormal Condition Detection & Notifications, Reports, Assets Visibility & Performance etc. Further, it provides the necessary tools to analyse and troubleshoot the Operational & Performance Issues that are essential for Operational Excellence.
