To The Manufacturer
The aim of every manufacturer is to have his or her goods distributed at a given time and pace for profit or to break even. Most often we target certain market without giving attention to "under estimated markets". We loose sight of the fact that, it's the Little drops of water that makes a mighty ocean. Most of the under estimated markets holds the keys to our success.
Once you take up the mantle of a manufacturer, one must see the entire world as its market place. Without under estimating any country or company that may come your way. Most manufacturers look down on African and some Asian markets but, I can tell you for a fact that, these are the very markets may hold the keys to the survival of your industry.
It's a bout time you take a second look at those markets you under rated for your goods or products. I will ask that, should you have any future plans of entering into the African market with your products and services especially in Ghana and West Africa, you can count on me for assistance. Thank

8 年Frank, One of the major reasons companies don't follow your good advice is the lack of infrastructure. Not just equipment and people, it goes way beyond that. there are very few places on Earth that can match the United States and Western Europe in this regard. It's not just a matter of quantity, quality, or price. It is also about total capacity, selection, engineering, flexibility in prototyping and design. It's just not something that a country with less than 50 million people can duplicate. You can duplicate smaller parts of it, but not the whole system. The simple fact of the matter is that you can't purchase economies of scale. The U.S. is huge and wealthy in natural resources of almost every kind. It even relates to roads and bridges, trains and airports, the number of sea ports and how many oceans you have immediate access to. Some day, perhaps 50 years from now, Africa will unite as one big Republic. When that day comes, I will rejoice. Jonathan
