Manual Calculation Tables Released
HMRC have released the tax calculation tables B and D for the use of the manual calculation method of tax. They’re used for calculation weekly and monthly tax deductions for England and Northern Ireland as well the for the two devolved tax processes in Wales and Scotland.
They have been updated also to incorporate the changes announced this year to rates and thresholds in each of the tax regimes, however the further manual – table A remains unchanged as there has been no alteration to the personal allowance in 2023/24 which remains set at 1257L.
