A beachfront mansion in Sydney’s affluent suburb of Vaucluse has sold for A$21 million (US$14 million), about A$3 million above the asking price. The home, which has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms, was owned by Phil Staub, former executive chairman of fashion retailer General Pants, and Jackie Vidor. Turkish Home Sales Slumped in March; Russians Topped the List of Foreign Buyers
Turkish home sales slumped 21.4% year over year in March to a total of 105,476 houses, with sales to foreign buyers falling 38.7%, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute on Monday. Trump-branded properties underperformed the broader U.S. real estate market during the past three years. Between 2019 and 2022, the median condominium sale price across the country rose 38% on average, while properties listed at the Trump Organization declined 14% during the same period, according to market data from Realtor.com and CoreLogic. Singer and songwriter Halsey is selling her Los Angeles compound for just under $12 million. The 28-year-old singer, known for her hits such as "Alone"?and "Strangers," bought the 5-acre property from Liam Payne of One Direction fame about two years ago for $10.2 million.
