How Does a Manitoba PNP Draw Work?

Manitoba PNP draws aim to meet the province's labour market and economic needs by selecting candidates from the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool. Applicants enter this pool by submitting an online EOI profile.

Key factors determining your score:

  • Age
  • Education
  • Work experience
  • Language skills
  • Connections to Manitoba

The highest-scoring candidates in each stream are invited to apply for nomination. Once nominated, candidates receive 600 additional points in the federal Express Entry system, making them highly likely to receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canada PR.

Benefits of the Manitoba PNP

  • Targets specific applicant categories: Skilled workers, business investors, and international graduates.
  • Faster processing times: 80% of applications are processed within 6 to 8 months.
  • Boost in Express Entry ranking: Nomination adds 600 CRS points.
