Manitoba Invests $17M to Boost Aerospace Sector

The Manitoba government is investing $17 million in Magellan Aerospace to create 64 highly skilled jobs, enhance productivity, and position the province as a global aerospace leader. The funding, including an $8-million grant and $9-million loan, will support advanced projects like a state-of-the-art machining centre, space product development, and strengthened partnerships with RRC Polytech, benefiting 150 students annually through integrated learning opportunities. This investment grows the economy, secures jobs, and supports Manitoba’s future as an aerospace hub,” said Premier Wab Kinew. Magellan Aerospace, with 95 years of expertise, continues to lead in innovative aerospace manufacturing and development, reinforcing Manitoba’s reputation as a key player in the global aerospace industry.
