Recently, I had the opportunity to visit ISKCON, a place known for its deep spiritual wisdom and peaceful atmosphere. While I expected to engage in spiritual discussions, I found myself having an unexpected yet profound conversation with a spiritual guru about business, success, and the power of manifestation.
What struck me most was how effortlessly ancient wisdom from the Bhagavad Gita aligns with modern entrepreneurial challenges. As we spoke, I realized that manifestation isn’t just a spiritual concept—it’s a business strategy that successful entrepreneurs unknowingly apply.
The Power of Belief: Business Begins in the Mind
The guru started our conversation by quoting a powerful verse from the Bhagavad Gita:
"A man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is." (Bhagavad Gita 17.3)
He explained that in both business and life, our beliefs shape our reality. Entrepreneurs who doubt their own ideas, fear failure, or constantly worry about obstacles unknowingly manifest struggles. On the other hand, those who believe deeply in their vision, act with conviction, and persist despite challenges attract success.
As he spoke, I reflected on my own journey—how every milestone I achieved was once just a thought in my mind before it materialized into reality.
Clarity of Vision: Seeing Success Before It Happens
The guru then asked, "When you started your entrepreneurial journey, did you clearly see where you were headed?"
I thought about it and realized that clarity was the first step of my success. While I didn’t know all the details, I had a strong vision of the impact I wanted to create.
He nodded and said, "That is the foundation of manifestation. If you cannot see it in your mind, how can the world see it?"
Throughout history, the greatest entrepreneurs—whether Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, or Jeff Bezos—had a vision so strong that it pulled them forward, even when external circumstances were unfavorable.
If you want to manifest success in business, ask yourself:
Taking Action Without Attachment: The Secret to Long-Term Success
The guru then shared another profound teaching from the Bhagavad Gita:
"You have a right to perform your prescribed duties, but you are not entitled to the fruits of your actions." (Bhagavad Gita 2.47)
He explained that many entrepreneurs struggle because they obsess over immediate results—profits, funding, validation. But true success comes to those who focus on action, not outcomes.
This reminded me of my own experiences—every project, book, or initiative that succeeded was the result of relentless effort, not overnight luck.
The lesson was clear: Success is not something you chase; it is something you attract by staying committed to the process.
Overcoming Fear and Doubt: The Entrepreneur’s Greatest Battle
As we delved deeper, I asked the guru, "What about fear and uncertainty? Every entrepreneur faces them."
He smiled and replied with Krishna’s words to Arjuna:

"Stand up and fight! Do not give in to this degrading impotence." (Bhagavad Gita 2.3)
In business, this means:
Fear attracts failure, while courage attracts opportunities. Those who take bold action despite fear are the ones who ultimately succeed.
Manifesting Abundance: Moving from Scarcity to Growth Mindset
At one point, the guru asked me, "Why do some businesses struggle while others thrive, even in the same industry?"
I responded, "Maybe because of market conditions, competition, or lack of resources?"
He shook his head and said, "No. It is because some operate from a scarcity mindset, while others embrace abundance."
This was a breakthrough moment for me. Many businesses fail not because of external limitations, but because of internal beliefs—the idea that:
Those who believe in abundance attract opportunities, funding, and success—not by chance, but by their mindset.
Trusting the Process: The Final Step of Manifestation
As our conversation came to a close, I asked, "What is the most important lesson for an entrepreneur?"
The guru smiled and said:
"Have faith in the journey. Manifestation takes time, and those who persist are the ones who succeed."
This resonated deeply. In business, nothing happens overnight—there are struggles, failures, and unexpected challenges. But those who stay the course, refine their approach, and believe in their vision always succeed in the long run.
Final Thoughts: Applying Manifestation to Business
As I walked out of ISKCON that day, I felt a deep sense of clarity. Our discussion reaffirmed what I had experienced in my own journey—manifestation is not about magic; it is about aligning belief, action, and patience until success becomes inevitable.
If you want to manifest success in business, remember these key lessons:
This conversation reminded me that manifestation is not just a spiritual concept—it is a powerful business tool.
