MANIFESTATION.

I’ve been successfully ‘manifesting’ since I was 7 years old.? Of course, I had no idea what I was doing back then. It started when I had this huge desire to be in a school play, ‘The Dance of the Leaves’; everyone told me it wasn’t possible as I was too young for the group, they already had all the children they needed blah blah blah. Yet I visualised it, imagined it, felt it, created it. And I got to be in it on the night of the play.

But this article isn’t about that event (though if you’re interested in that story you can find it on Medium under ‘The Power of You by Guinevere Ellis’).

This article is about creating the results you really want, when everyone else tells you you’re being unrealistic.

So many of my clients come to me because everyone else they’ve shared their dream goal with has laughed and told them it was crazy; or because they daren’t tell anyone else what they really want for fear of being judged. Or because nobody else around them understands this huge desire for ‘more’ they feel within. And my reaction is always ‘Great - how about increasing it?’

You see, I’ve been manifesting my whole life - and so have you.? The difference is that most people don’t know how to do it intentionally. Though there is no doubt that you and everyone else are manifesting unconsciously every single day.

Because ‘manifestation’ just means creating certain results based on the way you use your mind.? And most people’s mind has been left to its own devices, recreating the same results as the past, like a machine with no off switch, in chaos and with lack of focus.

Anyone who has worked with me will know that ‘reality creation’ - or ‘manifestation’, is a big part of my own success and of my work. But I’ve always shied away from openly declaring it as such a big part of my business, success and life.

Why?

Because I’m very logical, intellectual, ‘scientific’, left-brain-dominant, practical, commercial, business-minded. I felt that unless someone knew me, then talking about ‘manifestation’ would lessen the seriousness of my work and put me in a bracket of spirituality, ‘Law of Attraction’ and ‘talking to spirit/source/the Universe/whatever’ - none of which are ‘me’. At all.

But ‘manifestation’ is simply about consciously creating your own results in a specific way.? Whether you believe it’s the Universe or your own mind, it doesn’t really matter - it’s your belief that you can achieve what you really want that inspires you to take action, make decisions, become more disciplined, and achieve the results you really want.

Yes of course, there is more to it - that’s why I created The Effortless Framework’ - so that it’s a step by step plan.

But even without that, you can learn to intentionally create the results you really want.

Here is my bite-size guidance to get you started:

1. Sit somewhere quiet, close your eyes and ask yourself ‘If anything was possible, what would I love?’
2. Allow the thoughts to come, don’t suppress anything, just let them flow.
3. Once you’ve decided on a goal you’d love to achieve, ask yourself how it would feel if you had already achieved it.
4. What is the main feeling you would experience? Relief? Pride? Contentment?
5. Write your goal down on a piece of card, about credit-card size, and as you write it down, feel how you would feel if it had already happened.
6. Start looking at that card everyday.? Start imprinting it onto your subconscious.

That’s all you need to do to start. Your subconscious mind is like a missile heading for a target - it finds it’s way.? You’ve just been giving it the wrong target.
