The latest models predictions for Hurricane Dorian shows that the eye of the hurricane will get very close to the South Carolina shores. Significant impact along the beaches is expected.
Dorian is still a Category 5 storm with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph.
South Carolina Governor's announced mandatory evacuations for All Counties along Coastal area. The mandatory evacuation will begin in effect on Monday, September 1st at noon. All schools will be closed beginning on Tuesday morning until further notice.
By the time Dorian will reach the South Carolina shores proximity it can be expected to reduce it's strength to category 3 to 2 Hurricane.
