Mandates that Motivate have profound significance for their family office founders AND the communities they strive to advance. Overcoming the ravages of racism by bringing people together to advance justice is the animating impulse for Partners in Racial Justice (PRJ). David Hoffman founded Partners in Racial Justice animated by Baha’u’llah’s ennobling vision of the oneness of humanity. His family office sustains the organization that fosters intentional conversations to connect and create community across America.

Recently their excellent endeavors earned the admiration and encouragement of the The White House President of the United States, Joe Biden, who extols the work of Partners in Racial Justice as “ …proof we can build a democracy worthy of our loftiest ambitions.”

Partners in Racial Justice collaborated with the leaders of the white and black churches in and around Pittsboro, North Carolina to bring the citizens from that community together for Race Amity Day Celebration earning the respect and support of the Mayor of the Town of Pittsboro. This outcome is the result of its diverse Board of Directors suffering each other’s idiosyncrasies. (Please see their members pictured above)

Ego is a thing unprincipled avarice tends to corrupt. Therefore, when a very rich man learns to temper self in deference to others whose means are very meager, we celebrate. Wealth emerges from the principled acquisition of means in service to humanity. However, David will be the first to admit it is not easy to listen much less do what others encourage however gently they offer their insights especially if you are the one paying the bills.

However, when principles and other focused purpose restrains narrow self-interest – magic emerges moving the world to sing for joy as we see in the photos below. The gathering culminated with joyous moving music sang by the unprecedented combination of black and white church choirs.? The combined choir was led by One Human Family Workshops.?Several people were moved to tears to see the beauty of unity and diversity on display and vowed to keep the movement going.
