As a Mancheter United fan

More than $500m spent,25 players have come in ,5 different managers(including Ryan Giggs) since the last season when we won a premiership identically which was Sir Alex Ferguson's last season as our manager. Linked with the whole world but end by extending Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling's contracts. Are Man united out of funds?? No we are there within top 5 richest clubs always.

So where exactly is it going wrong for us? Trying for a marquee player , highly paid established player, the best players from the best clubs to revive us from the catastrophe. Making money by selling their jersey and increasing our income and popularity which by no means helping us to win trophies.

So what should be done? Instead wanting a whale getting smaller fishes that will feed us and help us to regain the lost momentum will be much more fruitful.

How can this be done? By following the theory Spurs and Liverpool have done. Scout talents and giving them time to grow is what spurs have done. Players like Delle Ali, Hary Kane , Christian Eriksen and many more have become top talents and they were given time to prove themselves. Yes they didn’t win trophies but the team has been playing like a top tier team. And look at a team like Liverpool Sold their star player for $140 million and have bought players who would solidify the team. If Liverpool can win Champions Trophy by selling Coutinho and buying players that the manager wants why cant we Manchester United do the same way by selling Pogba who has almost the same or even a greater market value than him and buy the players that we need.

Whom do we need? We need players who can give in the heart and soul for the badge they carry on the shirt. We need players who can carry the team, who can be warriors on the pitch, who values the club. Players like Ferdinand, Vidic, Keane, Cantona were players who would die for the club on the pitch even though they were not home grown players. We need home grown players like Scholes, Neville ,Giggs who haveonly Manchester United in their blood and not thinking about haircuts,social media and celebrations.

The manager is a Red Devil.No more excuses its all upto dumping out the unwanted and filling it with much needed.
