Manchester sets its’ stall out as an ambitious world-leading city.
A film created by Manchester agency The Neighbourhood, commissioned by Marketing Manchester and powered by a GAS Music soundtrack, follows one man through his many urban guises. Filmed in more than 50 locations, with up to 20 costume changes, the film reveals the potential of the city for the individual arriving here for the first time by showcasing the vibrancy, history and creativity.
Marketing Manchester managing director, Sheona Southern, said: "The reaction to the film has been remarkable, we can confidently share this film as it says all we want to say in an exciting and inspiring promo. “ At the recent MIPIM Expo, Manchester came behind only London and Paris as the globe’s most inspiring city.
Gary Hilton, creative director at GAS Music said: "It is a privilege to be able to promote our city to the rest of the world. We had a great time working with The Neighbourhood to give the film an original soundtrack. Seeing our ‘home’, The Landing at MediaCity in the film was a bonus!”
