Manchester Lockdown 'Fake Wedding' on Bikes

I help women uncover their true multifaceted-self with compassion and embody their whole Self. The UNCOVER methodology allows them to have better relationships with themselves and others.
It has been my intention to stop making single wear wedding dresses since last year. When Emily and Caroline got in touch with me enquiring about their wedding outfits that can last, I was delighted.
I completed Emily's dress and altered Caroline's jumpsuit in February, luckily before coronavirus, for their wedding in mid-April. Obviously their wedding was postponed due to social distancing. BUT these two girls went ahead and had their 'Fake Wedding' on bikes with champaign and dress/jumpsuit! How cool was that?!
Huge congratulations Emily and Caroline! Your wedding looks amazing!
Emily wanted one of her favourite dress to be recreated in silk fabric for the special occasion. The old dress no longer fits her and there were few design faults that were making her uncomfortable. She would love to wear her wedding dress for many more special occasions after her wedding. Needless to say, she got what she wanted! Looking at her happy face just made my day.
Caroline found a jumpsuit she loved but the only problem was because she is tall with longer than average torso she wasn't able to sit down without feeling the jumpsuit was going to split in half! I assessed the structure of the jumpsuit and advised her where to found the fabric that would be suitable for a waistband. She was clearly happy on that bike!
What a way to express and celebrate their happiness and love for each other! Thank you so much for allowing me to share your beautiful photos and inspire others that we don't have to put our life on 'halt'.
If you are a bride-to-be who is planning for your upcoming wedding and would like to start getting inspirations on how to make your wedding dress more than a 'one-time' investment, I'd love to hear from you and help you to get what you want.
