Ever witnessed a colleague snap under pressure? I recently did.
It's a scene all too common in today's high-stress work environments. Stress is almost a way of life in Corporates now. Subsequently, at almost every Talent Review we see bright professionals getting labelled as having ‘behavioural challenges’. Yest, I have rarely seen an organization develop or implement programs to guide employees on navigating stressful situations. Have you seen any?

For anyone in a high stress work environment, I’ve put together a few simple strategies for handling situations:
·???Recognise Your Triggers:
-?Take note of situations or tasks that consistently evoke stress.
-?Understanding your triggers empowers you to devise preemptive strategies to mitigate their impact.
·??Practice Mindfulness:
-?Incorporate mindfulness techniques into your daily routine, such as meditation or deep breathing exercises.
-?Mindfulness fosters self-awareness and helps you stay grounded during moments of pressure.
·???Prioritize and Organize:
-?Break down tasks into manageable activities and prioritize them based on deadlines and importance.

-?Don't hesitate to communicate with your colleagues or supervisors when feeling overwhelmed.

1 年1) Always preserve time and create conditions for playfulness . 2) Surround yourself with family, collegues and friends who are playful. 3) Play!! This can be sports??????, cook??, a show, a game??, a creative idea ??or something in nature. ??????

1 年A very well written post and it absolutely makes sense . I would say “ breaking it down “ is a bug thing for me . Many a times it’s multiple little events that together cause stress , if we can detangle it and look at the smaller pieces , life gets easier .
