Dear WB, In a recent report by Nigeria news media to Nigeria government, that the World Bank advised Nigeria government to jack up its current petrol price from 670 naira per liter which has put us to a point of death now by hunger to 750 naira perliter so to stop paying subsidy on PMS. This I want to say that, if so true, is not a welcome advice by over 200million Nigerians. The inaugural policy statement by President BAT, has done nothing but put us into a visible poverty that you can clearly see. We are the most vulnerable on the streets that you can see. Parents cannot afford a meal in days to feed their families, Fathers cannot longer pay their children school fees, making those kids to be at home, sick once cannot afford government medical bills leaving their love once to die at home for lack of funds, businesses have been forced to shut down for lack of customers and money to restock, which all these has caused the surge of insecurity everywhere in all sizes in the country. Please The World Bank should advise Nigerian gov on how to develop and empower its people for economy growth and development. and the only way now is to REVERSE current PMS price to the lowest, then plan properly. cause I see greatness in BAT GOV.

The ongoing bombardment of Gaza and the Israeli government’s call for Palestinian civilian relocations have created a desperate need for shelter, clean water, sanitation, fuel, food, medicines, hygiene supplies and other non-food items. The continuing violence, displacement, insecurity and other hardships are certain to have left survivors in Israel and Gaza in need of mental health and other support. No end is currently in sight for the conflict, and risks of further escalation exist. CDP will work with affected communities to explore how best to serve their needs over the coming months and years. Your support and gift will help survivors and also have a direct significant impact on CDP’s efforts to meet the ongoing and ever-expanding humanitarian challenges from the conflict in Israel and Gaza.
