There you have it;
After completing my B.Sc. in life science in one of the leading local universities, I realized that there is much more than that than this. Then I read the Law in one of London’s Universities. It was hard and fun at the same time, and luckily I fell in love with the profession. And quite frankly, I become damn good at it.
Then I worked in the private sector and in the public sector as an employee and as a self-employed. I did corporate law, commercial law, securities, private companies, public companies, individuals, various corporate organs, trust, land law, infrastructures, commodities, the lot.
I did domestic transaction, international trading, various deals, always keeping my nose clean – constantly been and still true, discreet, confidant and loyal.
Then I hit 50.
I became acquainted with Mr. OverQualified, which is an alias for Mr. TooOld.
I keep on meeting the young and restless at Court and at the opposite side of the negotiation table, big firm small practices alike. We have an ancient saying – the cook cannot testify on his products; I beg to differ: Humbly enough I can cautiously and confidently state that I know my business.
But general managers and other decision makers prefer the new and shiny over the deep experienced and knowledgeable. Subsequently and against my daily routine and agility, I met my biological age.
There you have it.
