Manager HR – ITS Compressors, Naroda, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)

Job Summary:

Act as the HR representative on day-to-day Human Resources and employee relations matters; provide support and guidance to management workforce and hourly employees.?

In addition to above drive at MEIA level employee engagement survey & initiatives, Health & Wellness events & initiatives and champion POSH for India.?

Position Responsibilities:

· Provides human resource support and counseling to hourly employees, Supervisors and Engineers on a variety of programs and activities covering multiple HR activities and Initiatives.

· Counsels managers on human capital metrics (utilization, hiring, turnover, compensation and employee engagement...) and sensitive HR issues (Employee relation, conflict management etc)..

· Execute smoothly the induction programs of new joinees for the region.

· Hiring of temp resource (end to end job) and coordinating with service providers for timely salary increase for temp resources for the entire region.

· Ensuring PMP for hourly employees that is being done annually as per the settlement timeline and ensure proper submission of data to payroll team along with letters

· Training program of all hourly employees – Need identification to execution of training programs

· Ensure adherence to ISO (QMS & EMS) standards w.r.t documentation and process.

· Prepare , circulate and ensure strict adherence to the annual event calendar ( approx. 50 events per year?

· R&R – ensuring the schedule is being followed, rewardees are honored with vouchers. Mainly SPOT awards , Quarterly Awards & Long Service Awards, Presidents awards ( compiling the same for multiple plants)

· Support in cultural change through safety practice – BBS , near miss , ATS audit point closure

· Taking the plants to next level by facilitating the CFT meetings and employees collaboration initiatives.

· Partnering the Strategic drive of IDM and problem solving and Support the Development planning of salaried employees Work closely with the other HR team members to ensure compliance with current labor agreement, as well as all hourly work rules and policies?

· Supports and initiates location-specific activities to reduce safety concerns and improve employee relations on an on-going basis.

Experience and Skills Required:

· 5 -7 years of HR Generalist/Specialist experience required?

· Master Degree in Human resources Management is required.?

· Effective verbal and written communication, customer service orientation, strong team player and knowledge of HR best practices and Labour laws.?

· Strong Interpersonal relationship skills?

· Proficient in Microsoft office applications?

· Knowledge of HR Systems - PeopleSoft knowledge a plus?

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills?

· Proficiency using MS Access, Excel, Word, and PeopleSoft?

· Strong problem solving and conflict management skills?

· Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
