Front-Line management is primarily responsible for managing the performance of entry-level employees, who are directly responsible for the production & delivery of an organisations goods & services. They are the only managers that are not responsible for the supervision of other managers. Front-Line managers hold positions like Shift Manager, Department Manager, Office Manager, etc.
Front-Line Managers are responsible for:
1. Encourage, monitor and reward employee performance
2. Formulate detailed schedules and operating plans based on T2 Managers mid-range plans.
3. Training and supervision of non-managerial employees.
4. Managing staffing needs and rosters
