1. Service Strategy:

- Core Stage: Service Strategy is the foundation of the MSP life cycle. It involves defining the overall vision, goals, and objectives for service delivery. Here, the MSP aligns its services with the client organization's strategic objectives.

- Key Activities:

- Analyzing market trends and customer needs.

- Identifying service opportunities.

- Creating a service portfolio.

- Defining pricing models and service levels.

2. Service Design:

- Logical Flow: Service Design follows Service Strategy and focuses on designing services that meet client requirements.

- Activities:

- Designing service offerings.

- Creating service level agreements (SLAs).

- Developing processes and workflows.

- Ensuring scalability and flexibility.

3. Service Transition:

- Implementation Phase: Service Transition involves transitioning services from design to operational status.

- Tasks:

- Managing changes and releases.

- Training staff.

- Migrating services to production.

4. Service Operation:

- Service Delivery: This stage ensures smooth service operation.

- Responsibilities:

5. Continual Service Improvement (CSI):

- Holistic Approach: CSI envelops all other stages in the MSP life cycle.

- Objectives:

Consistent adherence to these stages ensures efficient MSP services and alignment with the client organization's goals. The actual duration and timeline of service engagement can be customized based on client requirements, cost considerations, business target(s) and overall scope of the services.
