I have the pleasure of teaching the Foundations of Cybersecurity at the University of Dallas this semester. For this week’s discussion thread, I have asked my students to research and apply the helpful advice from the National Cybersecurity Alliance with the following Discussion Thread:

- What did you select?
- What did you learn?
- What changes did you make based on the information provided?
- Why did you make those changes? If you did not make any changes, why not?
- Did you discover anything interesting or surprising?
- Why don't businesses simply make these more secure and more private configurations the mandatory default settings?
I would ask my LinkedIn colleagues to take time to evaluate their privacy settings.
