First LinkedIn for Business Newsletter, the July edition.
Wow, after thinking about it for months, it is finally time for my first newsletter! This bi-weekly newsletter will be full of relevant tips and insights which you can apply right away to increase the number of leads for your business. Every newsletter will focus on profiles, pages, and advertising.
LinkedIn profiles for Business, manage your activity, and add a CTA to your profile
Manage your activity section. LinkedIn has launched an updated version of the activity section which means you can decide what your profile visitors see when they check your activities. You can make for example your videos or images primary. This means you can decide how you want to educate your profile visitors about your business and about you. And the better your visitors get to know you, to more, they will trust you. And trust will lead to new customers!
When you click on the pencil next to create a post you get the option to choose which activity should be prioritized.
With this new way of managing your activities, all of your content efforts will pay off even more. Because visitors can look back and review your best content from last year instead of scrolling through a long feed of activities.
Another feature that will help you to generate more leads with your profile is the new CTA button option. (only available for premium members) Make sure you activate the creator mode to use this feature. With this CTA you can send your profile visitors to your own website or specific page you want to promote. This means a very easy and clear option to generate leads.
LinkedIn for Business Pages, content suggestions
A successful LinkedIn page requires a strong content strategy. But even when you have a strategy in place you sometimes need inspiration for your posts. LinkedIn is now offering content suggestions to you.
When you go to your page as an admin you will see, right at the top, the content suggestions for your page. When you click on the writing icon, you will be directed to the section to write the post. The suggestion is still visible. With this new feature, posting will be easier for companies, but authenticity will stay since you still have to write the post yourself.
If you don't have the feature yet, it will be coming soon. LinkedIn rolls out new features in faces.
