Role of MANAGE-CIA in nurturing Agri Startups:

MANAGE-Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship (CIA) is a Centre of Excellence in Agri-Business Incubation hosted at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad.

MANAGE-Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship (CIA) is one of the leading Agri-Business incubators in India and Knowledge Partner for the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India, and Centre of Excellence (CoE) under the Innovation and Agri- Entrepreneurship initiative under the RKVY-RAFTAAR project. MANAGE-CIA and Partner R-ABIs have incubated 906 Agri-Startups across India and supported 286 startups with a grant-in-aid amount of Rs 30.71 cr.

About MANAGE Agri-Eureka 2023

MANAGE Agri-Eureka 2023 is a National-level Agri innovation and Business plan challenge organized by The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) that aims to promote Innovation and Agripreneurship. The challenge is open to startups, innovators, and entrepreneurs who have innovative ideas that can enhance the productivity and profitability of the agriculture and allied sectors.

In the first edition, a total of 349 applications were received covering various focus areas related to Agriculture and allied sectors across India, where 29 teams of 34 participants attended the business plan event from November 3 to 7, 2022.

After the success of the 1st edition now the 2nd edition is being organized to provide a platform to present innovative ideas and technology solutions to the inherent problems underlying the agriculture and allied sector in India. The registration is free and is open to all students, aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and early-stage startup founders across India. The last date to submit the application online is April 30, 2023.

The winning innovations and agri-business plans will get an exclusive preference for incubation support, grant-in-aid/ funding support upto 25 Lakhs subject to assessment by the evaluation committee of MANAGE-CIA. The winning teams will also have the opportunity of field trial and also access technology validation from our partner R&D institutions.
