The Man Who Dared
Onakpoberuo Onoriode Victor.
- I dare to stand up for me; what I think, believe and do
- I dare to stand out
- A man at some point would have to stand or fall for something
- So, I dare to stand for me in spite of the alluring appeal to align and be accepted
- I am a believer
- I fully accept and embrace all that God has freely given me
- I suck it all up, I inhale it all to the very heart of it
- I am so sorry shame was buried a billion years ago; It must have been my hammer that drove the last nail into his God condemned bury-box
- I dare, I dare and I dare
- People are too afraid of things they shouldn't be afraid of; institutions, authorities, traditions...what, what, what?
- Who are they and what are they?
- You should rather be more afraid of time, that it is speeding away and that you are tickingly losing the right to the free space you currently have
- I see no fear, cares or competition
- There are no doubts but if any, they only exist in the minds of talkers, hyenas, "quaquaqua" people, whose preoccupation is to analyze, consider and wonder at the dust raised by my mission ladened feet
- I dare, I dare, I dare!
- I don't see what you see, I can't hear what you hear and I can't stay a second where you live!
- I dare to evolve, to be me and not you, neither them nor those ones there
- I passionately refuse to be apologetic about being me and I am not about to make you understand me
- It is not important, because what is important, I have already said
- I dare!
- Time is a judge
- It is questioning, observing and taking notes
- I refuse to be judged by time, to be questioned, interrogated and condemned for those things I could have done
- No way!
- I therefore strive each day, making the most use of the Rhythm of time
- It is moving, I am moving, it is ticking and I am speaking, freely dispersing ideas and making proselytes
- I dare, I confront, I assert, I oppose, I question, because I know time will be the least merciful in judging all my rationalized indolence
- I dare my brother, I really do
- The world is a large place, so I dare to take possession, break new grounds and open new paths
- Yes, yes, yes, I dare and I dare and I dare because I hate to be confronted by time and I can't look in his eyes!
- So for my children and for their children, children, I dare
- To be me, the Man, Daddy and Grand Pa they'll love to seat around and talk about;
- Who ....was..... he...?
- The man ...who ...dared
