Hi to all my Linkedin Friends, Colleagues and Acquaintances
I have decided to run a Marathon up/ around and against a Mountain (Snowdon) to assist in the fight against Children with Cancer.
Almost 4,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year, the most common childhood cancer is leukaemia. I hate cancer and have been personally affected by this disease through family and friends, some surviving – some sadly losing the battle. I was particularly touched by a local story of a four year old who had Stage 1 Leukaemia and then upon undertaking more research the impact this had with other young children. As a result I wanted to contribute towards the fight and so thank you for reading this email and hopefully making a difference
