Man Utd Staffs and Players Contracts COVID

Positive Covid-19 data has been recorded by Man Utd following Saturday’s Premier League match against Norwich, specifically among players and staff.

Before the 1-0 victory at Carrow Road, all Man Utd players had tested negative for lateral flow.

After the match, those who returned negative tests were adjusted to non-contact, individual training sessions outdoors.

There were some individuals who were sent home.

Before training on Sunday, however, more than a few players tested positive.

Their match at Brentford on Tuesday is now uncertain after the club reported the cases to the Premier League.

Covid was also positive for Aston Villa on Sunday.

In order to avoid having members of the squad recovery inside the Bodymoor Heath training facility, the squad’s indoor recovery session was cancelled as a precaution.

Training would have continued as usual if a full session had been outside.

After an COVID outbreak in the Tottenham squad, this weekend’s Spurs v Brighton match has been postponed.
