A Man of Few Words, Yet a Powerful Example of Contentment and Strength – Happy 60th!

Two years younger than me, yet always ahead in terms of hard work, grit, and determination. At just 15, he began his journey as a mechanic trainee, balancing work with school. Though academics weren't his passion, he quickly became an expert in fuel injection which is used in vehicles operate using diesel as a technician and eventually building a small successful business through sheer perseverance.

At 36, he made the brave decision to move to the U.S. with his young family. His entrepreneurial spirit had mixed outcomes as he explored several ventures, including a small restaurant in Towson, Maryland, where his wife, Basith, and son Daniyal stood by his side. Despite the challenges and ultimately closing the restaurant, his dedication never wavered.

Generous, kind, and always supportive, he’s been a pillar not just for his immediate family but for all his nieces and nephews. He’s a man of few words, but when he speaks, it’s with wisdom, humor, and just the right amount of sarcasm to leave us smiling.

He’s also been a critical player in nearly all of our political campaigns—except for 1998, when he wasn’t in Maryland. He is an incredible chef and probably the best in 4 brothers.

Brother, you’ve built a good and decent life, marked by hard work, love, and generosity. Here’s to many more years of health, happiness, and success. With the way you're taking care of yourself, I have no doubt you'll easily reach 80 and beyond!
