Mamaearth denies IPO withdrawal report; CEO Alagh says still engaging with SEBI on queries, process

Mamaearth on Monday sought to deny reports of withdrawal of its proposed Rs 2,500-crore IPO, saying that the parent company Honasa Consumer is engaging with regulator SEBI on the public issue. Earlier today, Reuters reported citing sources that?Mamaearth?has put its proposed?IPO?on hold due to weak market conditions. Mamaearth co-founder and CEO Varun Alagh told CNBC TV18 in an interview that the company is replying to SEBI queries, and expects to get approval on IPO prospectus by next month.

Sensex slipped 463 points to close at 57527 or 1% while Nifty dropped 155 points or nearly 1% to close at below 17k level or 16945. Nifty and Sensex declined nearly 4% in the three consecutive week.

Indian Railways has planned to operate Vande Bharat Express in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). For this, the railways is working on a full swing to connect the Kashmir Valley with the other parts of the country. This specially built semi-high speed train will ply on Udhampur- Srinagar- Baramulla route.?

The national transporter is also set to introduce the 13th Vande Bharat Express train by next month. The new semi-high speed train will run between New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and Guwahati (GHY). However, the date of inauguration and beginning of the commercial service and routes are not yet known.

Sanofi receives marketing approval for its diabetes drug in India

Sanofi India?on Monday announced that it has received marketing authorization for its diabetes drug Soliqua (in pre-filled pen) from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO).

Soliqua is indicated as treatment to improve glycemic control as an adjunct to diet and exercise, in adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes who are insufficiently controlled on oral or injectable therapies. It comes in once daily dosing of pre-filled pens in fixed-ratio combination (10-40 and 30-60) of insulin glargine and lixisenatide.
