MAMA YOUTH CHOOSES GARDEN STUDIOS’ THE HIVE AS NEW HOME

London, UK – 5 February 2024 – Garden Studios, a leader in sound stages and tech-enabled production, is pleased to announce that MAMA Youth, a key player in nurturing the next generation of talent in TV and media, has taken up residency at The Hive in Park Royal.?

Garden Studios opened The Hive in the summer of 2023 to offer individuals and small businesses across the creative industries a space that combines co-working support and creative production suites for photography, filming, podcasting, mo-cap, virtual production, ADR, and much more. MAMA Youth is a critical provider of training and support to young talent and the ideal organization to take advantage of the range of solutions at The Hive.?

West London (which includes Garden’s local boroughs of Brent and Ealing) is home to thousands of film and TV workers – and among the largest concentrations of these workers in the UK. A recent report commissioned by Hounslow Borough Council on behalf of Creative Enterprise Zone West and Screen Capital West, with support from the Mayor of London’s office, analysed the local economic benefits of Film and TV Studios in West London. Film and TV production employs a wide diversity of occupations. Indeed, the majority of the economic impact of film and TV production is linked to the employment of creative talent (i.e. writers, producers, directors and lead actors), supporting cast and extras, and crew… West London is already well placed to benefit from these expenditures…??
