Malda always had been agrarian and indigenous.
The Muslim demography is converted Buddhists who were converted after the fall of Pal Dynasty as since then the Sen dynasty ruled Hindu Bengal until Muslim rulers took over.
Mind you,Ballal sen,not the Muslim rulers of Bengal as misunderstood launched a Ghar Wapasi campaign then to Hinduize Bengal in Brahamical system.
In reaction,most of East Bengal and Malda Murshidabad Mahayan Buddhists opted for Islam to skip the inherent caste system and untouchability!
Thus the Muslims in Bengal are popularly called NEDE meaning shaven head which recalls their Buddhist identity lost.
Malda is the Gaur,the capital of Shashank who was a Shaiva.
It has got the legacy of mixed demography enjoying peace and fraternity for centuries which has never been disturbed even during direct action in Kolkata, nationwide communal riots after the demolition of Babri Mosque which inflicted Bangladesh as Taslima descried in Lajja,the unilateral version of Bangladesh story.

It began with the riots in Padm Bill Faridpur riot by Maa Kali which blasted off the Dalit Muslim unity in Bengal and Congress betrayed Fazlul Haq who himself ditched his party and the peasantry while leading Shyama Haq ministry.Shama means Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
Situation worsened as Congress relaunched Muslim League as well as Hindu Mahasabha to have the power in Independent India and Bengal had the Muslim league governments back to back led by Najibullah and Suharawardy.

In 1937, elections were held in British controlled areas in India. In Bengal, the All India Muslim League and the Krishak Praja Party (KPP) won 40 and 35 seats respectively. Leading politician A. K. Fazlul Huq, the leader of the KPP, became the Premier of Bengal with the support of the League, the Europeans (25 seats), the Independent Scheduled Castes (23 seats) and the Independent Caste Hindus (14 seats). His chief opposition was the Indian National Congress and the Hindu Mahasabha. In 1940 Huq moved the Lahore Resolution which called for the creation of a sovereign state in the eastern British India. Huq's tenure was marred by instability and controversies. The Bengal famine of 1943 took place during World War II; and Calcutta and Chittagong were bombed by Japanese air raids. The Huq Ministry collapsed in 1943 as the KPP began to disintegrate and legislative support diminished. He was succeeded by Sir Khawaja Nazimuddin, a member of theDhaka Nawab Family. Nazimuddin was a conservative leader of the Muslim League and earlier served as education minister. His premership saw growing communal divisions.
The 1946 elections saw the Bengal Muslim League win a majority of 113 seats in the 250-member Legislative Assembly. The liberal faction within the League gained control. They were led by figures such as Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy andMohammad Ali Bogra. Suhrawardy became Prime Minister in 1946. He mooted the famous United Bengal proposal which opposed the province's partition and called for an independent state. However, this was rejected by Earl Mountbatten due to pressure from the Congress and hardliners in the Muslim League. Suhrawardy was the last Prime Minister of Bengal upon the Partition of British India in 1947. Subsequently, all three Bengali premiers moved to East Pakistan, where they continued to be influential statesmen. Nazimuddin and Suhrawardy became Prime Ministers of Pakistan, while Huq served as the Chief Minister and Governor of East Pakistan. The three leaders are considered the forerunners of politics in modernBangladesh. Suhrawardy and Huq were mentors to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Even Kolkata had no history of communal riots but Direct Action called by Jinnah and executed by Suharawardy proved decisive to divide India.
Noakhali had sufficient Hindu poupulatiion having Chitagong,Comilla and Sylhet around with Hindu or Buddhist majority.
But Noakhali riots were enough for the transfer of power bargaining,to finalize Cabinet proposals having marginalized Gandhi,Fazlul Haq,Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan,Netaji and Ambedkar who were against partition.
Hence ,the Malda direct action and the Terror Game of the reactionary fascist group opting for unprecedented hate campaign against Muslim community should not be overlooked.
Election equations for the next election in Bengal have made this scenario very very complex as those ruling Bengal and those ruling India from New Delhi have joined hands to polarize Indian people vertically to continue the partition phenomenon and holocaust!

The demography there is ruled by anti social and even antinational criminal elements which enjoys political protection most and police,administration and even BSF being their best allies.
The scenario is set ablaze as Muslims fear to trade Kaliachak lest they should be involved.
In fact Muslim majority demography in Malada is more or less concetrated in kaliachok, Sujapur, Chanchal, harishchandra pur and Ratua and partially in Pandua.
Moreover, in every Muslim majority area ,the Adivasi locality is a solid base of indigenous unity and noone dares to mislead them.
Mind you,our Adivasi people in Malda region are very awakened people.
Mind you,Kaliachok like situation occurred in Sujapur last year only but it was diluted.
Clash of business interest in smuggling,drug business, trafficking caused the clash between the BSF and a section of the Muslim dominated demography which was never never communal nor the Hindu or Muslim communities in general were involved nor effected in violence and arson, reactions.
Becuse of poltical equations ,the political leaders like MPs,MLAs and Ministers from the region keep mum including most influential Gani khan family and Congress chief Adhir Chowdhury lest it might have an adverse impact in the next elections.
The Left seems to have lost its world in Malda and rest of Bengal and they have no position wherefrom they would dare to intervene to clean the mess!
It is RSS iniitiative all the way.Late BJP MP and Central minister in NDA ATAL government Tapan Sikdar used Malda as his polyical base way back in nineties.
Since the Muslims in Malda as much as inflicted with insecurity psyche just because of continuous persecution elsewhere as much as in anywhere countrywide,they dare not to stand with anyone speaking conscience an truth.

The West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday brushed aside the Kaliachawk violence in Maldadistrict last week as an incident of clash between the BSF and local people. She refused to accept it as a communal incident.
Is it that simple?
Mamata might have been praised and her investment might become the smooth cakewalk and she might have captured Bengal for thirty five years more to beat the Left record,but she lost the case in Malda miserably and the peace zone of Bengal becomes the volcano to destroy Bengal as well as India!Didi cares not.
Didi managing the police and internal security fails to understand how it is yet another communal Fire beyond control reminiscent of Direct Action in Kolkata.It is direct Action to capture Bengal as well as India,mind you.

While there has been speculation that union Home Minister Rajnath Singh may visit Malda, Singh claimed owing to pre-scheduled events, the senior leader will not be able to visit. However, union minister and former party chief Nitin Gadkari is slated to visit Malda.
Dismissing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's claim that Malda violence not being a communal incident, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday accused her of shielding her party goons involved in various crimes.
"It is utter lie that West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee termes the Malda incident a clash between the BSF and locals," BJP leader Siddharthnath Singh said. "Mamata is protecting her own criminals, who are involved in the smuggling of fake currency and drugs at Malda and Kaliachak," Singh said.
According to Singh, BJP chief Amit Shah has formed a three-member panel that will look into the Malda incident. The committee comprises of S.S. Ahluwalia, Bhupender Yadav and V.D. Ram, who will visit the BSF camp and will also interact with the Hindu families in the area to get the detail information.
A massive Muslim rally, called to protest against certain remarks allegedly made by a Hindu leader in Uttar Pradesh about Prophet, turned violent in Malda last week, leading to arson and gunfire. The protestors set on fire dozen vehicles on the national highway and attacked the Kaliachak police station.
However,West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today described last Sunday's mob violence at Malda's Kaliachak as a ''struggle between the BSF and locals''.
Speaking on the incident for the very first time, Mamata blamed the media for misreporting the matter. Mamata said, "It was BSF versus the people. There's a struggle there. The state is not involved. The issue was distorted and misinformed. The locals there had some issues with the BSF."
Mamata also lauded her administration for effectively handling the situation. "It is nothing to do with my party or the State Government or State Police. But we managed it," Banerjee added.
Even on Friday, speaking at the inauguration of the Bengal Global business summit, Mamata had refuted reports of any communal tension in the state. "Bengal is a peaceful state where we all work together. There is no such communal incident or tension. Somebody might criticise it politically. We don't allow all this." Banerjee had said.

But it is more important than Swaraj. There is no use having Swaraj, if you cannot defend it. More important than the question of defending Swaraj is the question of defending the Hindus under the Swaraj. In my opinion, it is only when Hindu Society becomes a casteless society that it can hope to have strength enough to defend itself. Without such internal strength, Swaraj for Hindus may turn out to be only a step towards slavery. Good-bye, and good wishes for your success.
