Malaysia's Petronas Initiates Financial Assistance Program for Engineering Services

Earlier this year, Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), Malaysia's largest petrochemical producer, initiated a financial assistance program for vendors and engineering-service providers in the nation's petrochemical industry

The program was supported by several financial and banking institutions and major engineering and maintenance contractors, as well as local vendors. Memoranda of understanding have been signed among all companies and institutions involved.

Industrial Info is tracking 102 maintenance projects, worth $147 million, in Malaysia's Chemical Processing Industry that will kick off in 2020.
