Malala Coffee and the larger coffee community
It's crazy for us to think about farmers being paid as little as $0.01 - $0.03 cents per cup of coffee you drink at $3.50 per cup. But then you think about how much their paid for a cup of coffee which costs you $1 and it's getting kind of crazy.
That's amazingly sad, but there are some great ethical coffee options out there, that give farmers a good living. We're not the only good ethical coffee brand out there, but we are one of the best :D
Coffee farmers actually make more than some other farmers, such as rice farmers who might make $0.08 - $0.40 for the whole day.
We're all about helping farmers and giving back to the community and the more companies we work with, the more we can help.
I recently found out some of the bigger coffee and agriculture companies are not fans of ours, as if we're successful, they'd loose a lot of money when people start demanding ethical and organic agricultural products so we hope you guys start demanding it wherever you are.
