Making Your Life Better...
Are you seeking a better life? Seeking a better life?is a universal aspiration. Whether it’s pursuing education, career growth, personal fulfillment, or escaping difficult circumstances, the desire for improvement drives us forward.
The starting point is to define what a better life means. Everyone defines it differently. For some it might mean what wealth can produce. For others it is health and prosperity. Relationships, family, career, and adventure all rank as possibilities. You may get to this point from different perspectives. It might be based upon values, life goals, or current circumstances. You may need to adapt, take actionable steps, or just go with the flow.
The journey toward a better life is unique for each person. It’s about finding what resonates with you and taking intentional steps toward positive transformation. But is there something else? A greater power than any of us can imagine? It is what is generally known as the fruits of the Spirit. And we can tap into this power through “an understanding that living out each fruit of the Spirit is not a legalistic command by God, but an open invitation for us to choose differently, represent God better, develop stronger character, strengthen our attitudes, and restore hope to a broken world (Kirstyn Mayden).”
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23).?

Practicing the fruit of the spirit encourages us and others to know that there is another way to respond, behave, and live. Living out your life known for your kindness, each fruit requires us to pause, pray to God for wisdom, and allow God to give us courage to choose differently. We have the responsibility to live out each fruit with a desire to choose a higher path and one that glorifies God and brings hope to others.
Opportunities for a better life include love, a genuine sense of strong affection for another based upon the fact that God first loved you. Joy in our lives even as we face trials and hardships. Peace in a world that often is violent. ?We can also count on forbearance, patient self-control, restraint, and tolerance in a time when most individuals are not. Would you like to be known for your goodness in a time when it is in short supply? Add to this faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
In the end, what is it that we seek most out of life? Will money, fame, our work, or the adventures we have define us? Or would you rather be known for the impact you made on the lives of others based upon your “love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control?”
The TRUTH is that these fruits can and will remove pain, suffering, sin, and evil from your lives if you allow them. Your life will improve!
