Making Work-From-Home Work Better
The future of work is today. Over 40% of the US workforce is now working from home. Four in 10 people in the EU are working remotely. And 91% of teams in Asia Pacific have implemented remote work since the COVID-19 outbreak. Organizations across the globe are now operating in unfamiliar territory. The challenge is to enable employees with the tools and systems needed to keep business moving forward even though times are anything but business as usual.
Thinking and Working in New Ways?
According to a recent survey conducted by 451 Research,?67% of companies expect work-from-home to be permanent. The effects are worldwide. Automobile manufacturer Ford has extended its work-from-home policy in North America until at least June 2021. Leading the way in Europe are the Dutch, whose biggest banks predict that staff will be working about half their time from home even after the pandemic is over. Companies in India made work from home mandatory, but now, even as the lockdowns have been lifted, about 40% of workers say they don’t want to return to office.
The question is:?Will work-from-home be a strength or a weakness for your organization?
