Making the Transition into a New Leadership Role

Hello Festo Friends!

Festo Didactic will be offering a class in which participants will successfully navigate the transition into their new leadership role and identify ways to overcome challenges typically faced by new leaders.

On October 10th, we will hold a leadership class, Making the Transition into a New Leadership Role, NL111. This course uses research-based transition success strategies. We will focus on developing influence by establishing credibility through composure, character, courage, competence, and care for people. Additionally, we will talk about the importance of self-awareness and use the participants MBTI assessment results to discuss strengths and opportunities related to their leadership styles.

Prework: Completion of the MBTI assessment which will be emailed prior to the training event.

Some training outcomes are:

  • Understand your new leadership role and what has changed in regard to roles, responsibility, and working relationships
  • Discuss ways to build relationships and make connections with peers, managers, and director reports
  • Identify strategies to build trust and credibility
  • Identity tools, tips and tricks to avoid five traps new leaders often fall into
  • Describe potential strengths and development opportunities related to their MBTI personality assessment results

Class price is $375 for a 1/2-day course. We must have at least 6 participants registered to hold the class.
