Making Time(s Square)and Resolutions
Sometime in the future, I'll get to publish vertical paintings properly on social media, you won't always have to publish in landscape mode. For now, sorry you have to take a glance sideways in Time...
"Making Time" is an oil painting in progress. I am (literally)making time for for my daughter. It's a large format painting about 4 feet tall. It's taken a lot of time and when I'm finally finished, it will be about time! It has a few of her favorite logos and shows on billboards and since I have a billboard business and paint, and since she and mom and I went to celebrate her birthday, it's been a fun piece to work on and bring in the new year.
An iconic symbol of the New Year, I felt it was appropriate to post Times Square and to share my New Years Resolution, to keep me accountable to myself: I resolve to spend time every day painting, if even just for a few minutes. I resolve to simplify my life, to make the time I have here in this beautiful world be less about the stuff and more about the time I have with family and friends.
Cheers to you, my friends, my family, I hope that 2017 brings us peace and love in our hearts and lives!
