Making the Swiss Alps Affordable for Remote Workers

Making the Swiss Alps Affordable for Remote Workers

Hi everyone,

As some of you know, we are gearing up for our 3rd Hubs edition in the Swiss Alps in the stunning mountain town of Lenk, which will take place this autumn from Sep 30th until Dec 22nd.

This is a great opportunity to highlight the pricing we offer to you:

  • €600/mo for a 3-month stay in a private room with a shared kitchen
  • €1000/mo for a 3-month stay in a studio
  • €1300/mo for a 3-month stay in a 1-bedroom apartment

All our units have views of the Alps or balconies. They have all been recently renovated and look very modern, as we believe comfort is key. This makes our private room offer unbeatable for Switzerland and very affordable by Western standards.

As a blogger, I often look at rental pricing all around the world, particularly in Western Europe, and don't recall seeing such deals (particularly for the private room) in any Airbnb or coliving space I know of. If you do, feel free to add them in the comments.

Some coliving spaces, for example in Lisbon, charge $3000/mo for a small room—5 times more than what we offer. I won't comment on such pricing, as I believe that if they charge this, it probably means they have the demand.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Switzerland is cheap. Nevertheless, if you have good cooking skills, then our Swiss Alps offer might help you spend less than in some popular destinations for remote workers reputed to be 'very affordable,' knowing that accommodation is usually your main expense.

If you'd like to give it a try and join us this autumn, we still have some spots available that we expect to sell in the upcoming weeks. Feel free to contact me or visit our website.

See you soon in the Swiss Alps,

Andy.
