MAKING SOME NOISE
Where do you think most software developer companies are from? The most common answer from both laypeople and professionals alike would be India or China. Here in the USA, we are mostly familiar with offshore high-tech companies dominating this field. This is mainly due to the availability and cost savings. It would be easy to guess that some disadvantages of such outsourcing may have some obvious downfalls such as time zones and communication. However, oddly enough, India is the second largest English speaking country in the world. It means off-shore Indian software engineers can easily integrate with teams across the globe. India has an astounding 5.8 million software engineers. In contrast, the USA has 4.3 million, and the worldwide number of software developers is about 27 million.
There is another country making rapid gains in this field of software development. Brazil is “making some noise”, which means making a positive reputation in the IT industry, and is not at all an overnight success. For example, a town called Campinas, north of S?o Paulo, has taken on the identity of the Silicon Valley of South America. Campinas is known widely for many industrial parks, TechTown, InCamp, etc.
Another gem in Brazil’s IT infrastructure is Anprotec, with almost 300 corporate bodies and over 6000 companies geared towards innovation, generating thousands of jobs for developers. There are other huge tech parks, such as S?o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Recife, Porto Alegre, and Curitiba, where you can find skilled developers.

Furthermore, Brazil is widely known for their exceptional soccer players, and a passionate loyal fan base. They have made for themselves a strong footing in the software development landscape with over 500,000 software engineers. Brazil's proximity to the United States, having favorable time zones and good English speakers, certainly gives them a competitive edge.
Now, we have a strong workforce in Brazil that can provide excellent technical staffing service with very competitive rates for clients not only in the USA but all over the world. In addition, we are in a time zone that is conducive to everyday working hours in America as well as having very good English language speakers. All of this puts us at an advantage to further gain more ground in the ever-increasing market.
