Making sense of the IoT

I posted this landscape map a few days ago, and it seems to have gotten a lot of attention. I want to repost here, and add a couple of quick thoughts:

1. I agree with one gentleman who noted that we will probably look back on this time and laugh at the fact that we used such a huge bucket to encompass these businesses. Absolutely true.

2. For the record, there's a lot that should probably be here that isn't- companies that don't have reason to be noticed by VCs. This is a map made by VCs, so that's why ;)
