4 年Isn't the Pope a distributionist?
attorney at Beil & Hay, PA
5 年Thanks for sharing. I have a couple questions. First, in number three of the points of "wisdom", the second half advocates for "widely distributed wealth". Distributed by whom and to whom? I ask because taken as a whole, the article seems to be against government having a large role. Second, in point four, which opposes "the welfare state". Again, what is the distributist view? Is it that people who are poor should be forced to depend upon and beg from private charities rather than all of us helping them through the government?
