Kolkata Port sets an aim of increasing its cargo handling capacity to 110 million tonnes by 2030

The Kolkata port has set an aim to increase its cargo handling capacity by 26% to 110 million tonnes by 2030. The increased capacity will be a result of all the investments worth Rs 950 crore which are under implementation, and another Rs 2,400 crore worth of projects under pipeline.

Special Secretary - Logistics, DPIIT Amrit Lal Meena propelled to Ministry of Coal

In a recent document released by the Center, the appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet, has appointed Amrit Lal Meena (IAS), as the Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Coal. He will be taking over the office and will replace Anil Kumar Jain (IAS), with effect from 31st October 2022.


Shadowfax announces integration with ONDC for hyperlocal and e-commerce deliveries

Shadowfax Technologies integrates with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to provide seamless hyperlocal and e-commerce deliveries, making Shadowfax the first logistics player to have direct integration with the platform without any intermediary for all delivery formats.?Apart from the e-commerce delivery coverage, the integration will help sellers on the platform gain hyperlocal services in around 8500 pin codes, which is expected to help enable a rapid scale-up as the ONDC platform matures.
