Making Peace.
I took this picture outside of Sam Diego's Mexican restaurant in Hyannis. Seriously.

Making Peace.

This is where I come to you, the reader with a question.

I will keep this brief. Peace is not the absence of feeling. It is not the absence of problems. It is the presence of belief that you can handle whatever is on your plate. It is a calm. It is a confidence. It is energy to keep going.

And it is not a permanent state. I myself experience it maybe one day a week. The other six days, I white-knuckle through things the best I can.

How do you find peace in your work? What strategies do you use to order your life so that you maximize this powerful state? What resources do you draw upon?

Comment, message me, or e-mail me at [email protected] with your answers. If you are ok with me including your response in a future newsletter, please let me know.

All the best,

Meditation! The benefits are numerous and the side effects are non-existent. You don't have to sit around for hours in a remote place, a few quick deep breaths is all you need to begin.
