Our team is dedicated to building remarkable customer experiences for each and every guest by caring for their needs, taking pride in the quality of service, and delivering with unwavering consistency a smooth and pleasurable stay at all of our properties. Our team at Stay Sojo is with our guests from the very moment they book to the moment they check out making sure their stay is cared for.?
We gathered a few of our top behind-the-scenes guest experience creators to explore all that goes into the making of a memorable guest experience. From guest concierge relationships and arrival staff to housekeeping and property managers, we aim to please, and here’s how and why we do it.?
We asked some of our staff for their personal perspectives on what makes a great guest experience them. We know our teams love what they do and enjoy seeing the guests happy as much as we do. Carlos Ramos, an operations manager on the Stay Sojo team, shared that it was the teamwork dynamic that motivated him. He said, “There’s something about achieving it together, knowing that our team collectively delivered a great experience and made our guests feel at home.”
Rosa Ford, a top housekeeper for our Richmond properties, further described the high expectations of the team saying, “I look at it as if I was a guest. They want quality which means we thoroughly inspect everything that goes into the apartment making sure our guests’ eye doesn’t catch anything out of place.”

Next, we talked with Hardy Mattox, a 14-year member of the Stay Sojo team, about what he felt created a memorable experience. He focused on guest preferences and the importance of remembering their likes and dislikes for their next stay. Everything from the distance to the parking lot to the type of furniture in the apartment, Hardy and his team focus on remembering the moments that matter to each of our returning guest's stay - “That’s what keeps them coming back and builds a lasting relationship with them.”?
As we heard from others on our team, the overall consistent thoughts shared centered around being thoughtful, thorough, and dependable from our guests’ perspective. “Doing everything we can to make their stay comfortable and memorable is our goal” said Victoria Cohen, a 13-year member of the Stay Sojo team.?
