Not making the money you desire in your business?
Good Morning! ;) Are you running a business or a busyness?
This is an important distinction.
If you are running a business, then your business is making you money.
If you are running a busyness, then you are doing a lot of work and not making money (at least the amount you desire).
There are so many advices out there on what you need to do in your business - Blogging, Videos, Social Media, etc. While these are great advice, you need to know how to do it right to get maximum return.
When I first started, I fell in the busyness camp.
I launched my online business. E commerce business.
But there was one problem. I wasn't making money. I was doing all this work and nothing to show for it money wise.
Then I tried learning from various courses and probably invested close to $10,000 in courses (and more now!) trying to follow along and figure out how to make my business worked. The courses gave me a nice overview of how to do things, but things weren't clicking.
Even though I was in debt and making very little in my business, I finally decided to invest in a mentor to help me figure out what I was doing. And that's when my business shifted and I started booking clients and selling my program.
Through my mentor's help, realized I wasn't treating my business as a business. I wasn't being strategic in how I blogged, did videos, and even using Social Media. I got clear on the action steps I needed to take in order to have a real business - honing in on my message, creating the right package, marketing my services, etc.
The key to start making money in your business is to stop with the busy work and start getting strategic on how you work!
- <3 Get clear on your message. (People don't buy if they don't know what you do. Figure out what you want to be known for.)
- <3 Create an irresistible offers people are dying to have. (All offers aren't irresistible. Understand what your target wants and how to position your offer to meet those needs.)
- <3 Harness your uniqueness to capture attention for your launch. (Put competition in the dust. Your uniqueness needs to be leveraged so you won't be compared to others.)
- <3 Be purposeful with what you write, post, video. (Have a clear plan and desired result in mind. Otherwise you'll be doing more work with little return.)
