ANOTHER GORGEOUS TRENTINI MAKEOVER

Congratulations to local designer Kathryn Trentini on transforming this home design for a busy family of five, spanning three generations. She believes a home provides more than shelter, it’s a support network that inspires expansion both emotionally and spiritually, providing opportunity for growth and reflection.

Her design brief was to create a home that could withstand everything that life might throw at it. With views to the ocean, coastal hinterland and abundance of natural light it demanded a restrained palette to emphasis the beauty and tranquility of its surroundings. Check out this amazing makeover?here?or contact?Kathryn Trentini?to discuss your next makeover.

Beautiful AND useful! Check out local artist Catherine Grootenboer from? This & That by CJ?and her latest Frida-influenced piece - a hat stand that has been made from a panel of a 1930's cupboard.?Frida's flower headdress is made from mono-printed tissue which has been stamped with etchings of flowers and then collaged over the hand-painted panel which has also been stencilled, stamped, and collaged upon. This piece is a homage to Kahlo's instantly recogniseable naive folk-art style through CJ's unique lens. She has just been delivered to?Wauchope Creative Hub?so go over and check her out!??

Congratulations to Ian & the team at?Bago Maze & Winery?for being awarded the National Landscape Architecture Award winners for Small Projects.??Bago Maze?has been Ian's ongoing project since 2006. With time and effort transforming it from a sketched plan into the magical hedge maze it is today. ?? Ian Mobbs Bago Maze & Winery

The design incorporates a myriad of symbology inspired by the surrounding vineyards and its produce, wine. By walking its paths, one undertakes a journey symbolising the process of wine production, from vineyard to consumption. Two interlaced spirals represent the the cyclic and seasonal nature of the vineyards and are a figurative depiction of grapevine tendrils while the second half of the maze depicts a bunch of grapes, the final product of the vineyard. Hidden within the mazes secretive paths are lookout towers, bridges and sunken paths and hidden items to find. The maze is suitable for people of all ages and abilities.?This family friendly tourist attraction and winery is only 30 minutes' drive from Port Macquarie.

Bago’s Free monthly music Sunday will be held on Sunday 13 November. Be entertained for 3 hours from 11.30am to 2.30pm as?Nikki Rudge?entertains on the Pergola. Bago gates are open 9am - 5pm with last Maze entry at 4pm. Bring along a picnic lunch and fold up chair, sit back and relax in the picturesque Bago venue. Bookings for Maze entry and Cheese/Meat Platters is advisable?click here.
