Making Milestones Meaningful for Workplace Access & Safety

After months of hard work, on Wednesday 27 April, Workplace Access and Safety was proud to launch our new building in Moorabbin.?

In selecting the date for launch, it was important to Carl Sachs, our Managing Director at Workplace Access and Safety, that the event was both meaningful and had a significance beyond the personal.?

With the opening coinciding with Holocaust Memorial Day, two ancient cultures were brought together to join forces for the celebration. Rabbi Menachem Wolf conducted a Mezuzah installation ceremony alongside Uncle Shane Clarke, a Bunurong Elder, who conducted a Smoking and Welcome to Country ceremony.?

Both the leaders spoke of the importance of Corroboree, community and shared humanity.?

In Rabbi Wolf’s speech, a special acknowledgement was made to Uncle William Cooper, the local Yorta Yorta man who, learning of the barbarism taking place, led the only anti-Nazi protest to the German Consulate in 1938 and delivered a letter condemning the violence.?

“Success can only happen with the support of the community,” said Mr Sachs, as he thanked everyone involved in the process - from the fire engineers and plumbers, to the bankers and long-standing clients.?

With the new building now in place, Aaron Carratello, General Manager at Workplace Access and Safety, has his eyes trained firmly on the future. “We have a rock solid 25-year track record behind us, and now we are set up for the next stage of our development.”?

With the launch now complete, Workplace Access and Safety would like to extend gratitude to our partners and clients and welcome everyone to our new facility. Let’s keep our spaces safe together!
